Bulgaria's Vladimir Zografski achieved a record result for Bulgarian ski jumping at Winter Olympic Games, finishing tenth on the large hill at Milan-Cortina.

The 32-year-old Zografski totaled 277.3 points after two jumps of 133.5 meters each at the Predazzo complex.

He was sixth after the first round of the competition, which took place in light snowfall.

Bulgaria sends its strongest team in recent decades to the Winter Olympics

World champion Domen Prevc (Slovenia) won the title with 301.8 points.

Prevc was second after the first round with a jump of 138.5 meters and 147.0 points, but with the longest jump of the competition - 141.5 meters in his second attempt - he secured the gold medal.

Zografski finished 32nd on the normal hill in Predazzo several days ago, failing to qualify for the second round.
