A yellow and orange code for strong winds has been issued for the entire country

On Wednesday, minimum temperatures will be between -2 and -3°C, with Sofia experiencing -1°C. Precipitation will stop in the west during the day, with cloud cover breaking up after noon to make way for mostly sunny skies. Moderate to strong northwesterly winds have prompted yellow and orange wind warnings for the whole country. Maximum temperatures will range from 2 to 7°C, reaching around 3°C in Sofia.

The Black Sea coast will be cloudy with rain in many places, turning to snow in the morning.
Icy conditions are expected mainly along the northern coast. A moderate to strong north-westerly wind will blow, bringing cold air. Maximum temperatures will be around 4–5 °C, while sea water temperatures will be around 6–7 °C. The sea state will be around 2–3 on the Beaufort scale.

In the mountains, it will be cloudy with snowfall. Precipitation will be high in some places, forming a new snow cover. There will be strong and hurricane-force northwesterly winds, with conditions for blizzards and snowdrifts in the passes. At 1,200 metres above sea level, the maximum temperature will be around minus 5 °C, and at 2,000 metres, it will be around minus 9 °C.

On Thursday, it will be sunny with scattered high clouds. The wind will weaken and come from the south-southwest. There will be fog in some low-lying areas and valleys. It will be cold in the morning, with minimum temperatures between -7°C and -2°C. Daytime temperatures will rise, reaching maximums between 7°C and 12°C.
