With two months to go before Bulgaria's snap elections, a survey by the sociological agency Myara suggests that five political parties will make it into parliament, while two others are just below the 4% threshold.
The poll was conducted among 812 adult Bulgarians between 9 and 15 February. According to the findings, a party led by former president Rumen Radev would come first with 33.3% of the vote. GERB-SDS follows with 18.9%, PP-DB with 12.7%, DPS–New Beginning with 10.7%, and Vazrazhdane with 6.8%. MECH and BSP are just below the threshold, with 3.9% and 3.7% respectively.
Velichie, There Is Such a People, and the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms (APS) are not expected to secure parliamentary representation.
Sociologists forecast a voter turnout of over 50%, meaning that more than 3 million Bulgarians could cast their ballots.
The survey was commissioned, conducted and funded by the Myara agency.
