OSCE monitors CEC’s preparations for the early parliamentary elections

The Central Election Commission discussed preparations for the upcoming early parliamentary elections with international observers. The meeting with the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) focused on ensuring the legality, transparency, and public trust in the electoral process.

The Central Election Commission outlined the measures taken to prepare for the elections, including the organization of machine voting, the launch of a broader voter awareness campaign, and coordination with the relevant institutions. Particular emphasis was placed on training election commission members through the introduction of more interactive tools at the local level.

The meeting also reviewed the Central Election Commission’s proposals for amendments to the Electoral Code.
