President expresses reservations regarding some of the caretaker ministers

If I am offered the opportunity, I will immediately sign decree on the resignation of Deputy Prime Minister Stoil Tzitzelkov. This was what President Iliana Iotova told bTV regarding the information that Tzitzelkov had arrests for marijuana use and driving with 1.2 per mille blood alcohol content. She specified that she was saying this on the condition that the information reported in the media is a fact.

President Iotova stated that she had reservations about some of the ministers in the caretaker cabinet and pointed out that she would carefully monitor their work and would react to actions against the public interest. According to the President, judicial reform and the election of a prosecutor general are not topics for a caretaker government. Such a reform can only be done with a solid majority. Iotova also announced that after the early parliamentary elections she would decide whether to run in the presidential elections.
