Boxers from 35 countries are set to compete in the 77th Strandzha Cup in Sofia

More than 350 boxers from 35 countries will compete in the 77th edition of the Strandzha Cup, one of Europe's oldest boxing tournaments.

The competition will take place at the Sofia Hall in the Bulgarian capital. The tournament will officially open on Monday 23 February at 6 p.m., with the finals scheduled for 1 March.

It will feature European, world and Olympic medallists, as well as athletes from leading boxing nations including Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, the United States, Ireland, Germany, England, Australia, Brazil, Wales and Ukraine.

Bulgaria will be represented by 19 male boxers and five female competitors.
