“Trend” expects voter turnout of 59% and around 500,000 new voters

In the next National Assembly, five formations will have representation. Two parties remain close to the 4% parliamentary threshold. This is according to a survey by the agency “Trend,” commissioned by the newspaper “24 Chasa.”
The future formation around former President Rumen Radev gathers the support of 32.7% of those intending to vote. GERB–SDS is second with 20.4%.
There is uncertainty over third place, contested by “We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria” with 10.9% and “DPS - New Beginning” with 10.5%. “Vazrazhdane” is fifth with 7.8% support among voters. Close to the threshold remain BSP (3.8%) and MECH (3.6%).
Turnout at the polls on April 19 is expected to be 3.1 million people, or about 59% of eligible voters. The increase compared to the previous vote is expected to be around half a million votes.
