On Thursday, the lowest temperatures will range from -2°C and 3°C, around 0°C in Sofia. During the day, cloud cover will break up and decrease, and it will be mostly sunny across most of the country. There will be a moderate north-northeasterly wind, gradually shifting to north-northwesterly during the day. Maximum temperatures will range between 5°C and 10°C, reaching up to 12°C in Southwestern Bulgaria. In the capital city, daytime highs will be around 7°C.
Along the Black Sea coast, cloudiness will be significant before noon, with rain expected along the southern coastline. In the afternoon, clouds will break up and decrease, and sunny weather will prevail. There will be a moderate north-northeasterly wind, gradually shifting to north-northwesterly. Maximum temperatures will range between 6°C and 10°C. The seawater temperature is 5°C-7°C. Sea state 2–3 on the Beaufort scale.
In the mountains, it will be mostly cloudy, with snowfall before midday. In the afternoon, precipitation will cease and the cloud cover will break up. There will be a moderate to strong north-northeasterly wind. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be around 0°C, at 2,000 meters around -5°C.
On Friday, the weather will be mostly sunny and calm. In the morning, visibility will be reduced in lowlands and valleys. Minimum temperatures will be below zero everywhere. Maximum temperatures will range between 8°C and 13°C. In the evening, high and mid-level clouds will move in from the northwest.
