Ex-Man United striker Berbatov joins PM’s team

Dimitar Berbatov, one of Bulgaria's most successful footballers, has been appointed adviser to Acting Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov on youth and sports issues.

Berbatov will support the Prime Minister and the government in developing and implementing policies related to sport, active lifestyles and youth development in the country.

'I am accepting this commitment without remuneration, guided solely by my desire to contribute my experience and energy to creating a sustainable, long-term policy in this area," Berbatov said.
