The GERB-SDS coalition has submitted its registration documents to take part in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

'We are entering this latest campaign in the spiral of elections we have been caught in over the past few years with calm and confidence,' said former prime minister and MP Rosen Zhelyazkov, as quoted by BTA.

He confirmed that the GERB-SDS coalition will once again run in this format and will seek the best possible result. 'We submitted 9,999 signatures. This is a small part of the 43,000 signatures we have collected so far, but it is all we could bring,' said Zhelyazkov.

Under the election registration requirements, parties and coalitions must submit a list containing the names, personal identification numbers, and handwritten signatures of at least 2,500 voters in support of their registration.
