World leaders congratulate the Bulgarian people on their National Day

World leaders congratulated the Bulgarian people on the country’s National Day with congratulatory messages to President Iliana Iotova on the occasion of the 148th anniversary of Bulgaria’s Liberation.

U.S. President Donald Trump congratulated the Bulgarian people on their National Day, highlighting the partnership between the United States and Bulgaria in areas such as energy and defense.

On the occasion of Bulgaria’s National Day, Chinese President Xi Jinping wished Bulgaria prosperity and the Bulgarian people peace and well-being. He expressed readiness to strengthen dialogue and deepen China-Bulgaria relations.

In his greeting for March 3, King Charles III wished the Bulgarian people peace, prosperity, and well-being.

Austrian Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen praised the strong and lasting ties between Bulgaria and Austria, which are reflected in their economic relations.

German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier also extended his congratulations to the Bulgarian people, on his own behalf and that of his fellow citizens, noting that Bulgaria and Germany are closely connected by shared European and democratic values.

On the occasion of March 3, Italian President Sergio Mattarella and King Philippe of Belgium extended their heartfelt greetings to the Bulgarian people.

On behalf of the Romanian people, President Nicușor Dan sent the Bulgarian people his warm wishes for peace, prosperity, and well-being.

Türkiye’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan also extended greetings on the occasion of Bulgaria’s National Day, expressing his belief that sincere dialogue with Bulgaria will help strengthen peace, prosperity, and stability in the region.
