A new bibliographic study, Crafts in Bulgaria: A Bibliography, will be launched today at the Museum of Folk Crafts and Applied Arts in Troyan. The publication aims to centralise and update historical data on Bulgaria’s traditional crafts.

The event, scheduled for 4 p.m., was announced by the museum’s director, Eleonora Avdzhieva, in a statement to the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA).

The guide is the result of a collaboration led by the Regional Ethnographic Open-Air Museum “Etar” in Gabrovo and the Museum of Folk Crafts in Troyan, in partnership with the “Sts Cyril and Methodius” National Library and supported by museums and libraries across the country.

Designed as a reference tool, the bibliography aims to make scholarly information on Bulgarian crafts more accessible and provide quick access to data on their development.
