Sts Cyril and Methodius to call at Santos on return from Antarctica

The Bulgarian research vessel Sts Cyril and Methodius will call at the port of Santos, Brazil, on March 8 as it returns from a mission in Antarctica.

A ceremony will be held on board to mark Bulgaria’s National Day, which fell on March 3, the Embassy of Bulgaria in Brazil wrote on its website. Members of the Bulgarian community in Brazil are expected to attend.

The event is scheduled to begin at around 14:00 local time at the vessel’s berth at Cais Outeirinhos 2 (Cabeços 16–22) in the port of Santos.

The embassy said access to the vessel will require prior registration, including full names, date of birth and CPF (Brazilian taxpayer identification number).
