Caretaker Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov will attend the second Nuclear Energy Summit in Paris on 10 March.

The aim of the forum is to strengthen international cooperation on the development of safe nuclear energy for civilian purposes, in the context of growing electricity demand, the transition to a low-carbon economy, and efforts to ensure energy sovereignty.

Gyurov has also been invited by French President Emmanuel Macron to take part in a meeting of European leaders to discuss a common European approach to nuclear energy and electricity transmission networks.

Gyurov will be accompanied by Energy Minister Traycho Traykov.
