On Wednesday the minimum temperatures will be between 0 and 5°C. For Sofia it is expected to be 3°. During the day it will be cloudy. In the afternoon, there will be rain showers in southern Bulgaria and light snow in mountainous areas. There will be moderate, in the Danube Plain and Eastern Bulgaria - to strong wind from the east-northeast. Cold air will blow in and daytime temperatures will decrease. Maximum temperatures will range from 7 to 12 °C. In the capital, it will be around 7 °C.
On the Black Sea coast it will be cloudy. Moderate to strong winds will blow from the east-northeast. Maximum temperatures will be between 8 and 10°C. The sea water temperature will be between 7 and 9°. The sea swell will be around 2-3 bar.
It will be cloudy in the mountains. After noon, light snow will fall in places in the massifs of western Bulgaria and the Rhodope Mountains, below about 1,500 metres. A moderate wind will blow from the north-northwest. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 metres will be around 1°C; at 2,000 metres, it will be down to -4°C.
On Thursday, the wind will blow from the east-northeast, ranging from moderate to occasionally strong. There will be cloudy weather and light rain in many places, mainly in the eastern half of the country, and snow in the mountains. As it gets colder in the Pre-Balkan and in the high fields, mainly in the night and morning hours, rain will mix and temporarily change to snow. The prevailing minimum temperature will be between -1°C and 4°C, and the maximum temperature between 5°C and 10°C.
