Film on Bulgarian National Radio Children’s Choir to be screened in Paris

The documentary “Dressed in Music”, marking the 65th anniversary of the Bulgarian National Radio Children’s Choir, will be screened with French subtitles on 25 March at Christine Cinéma Club in Paris.

“For more than six decades, this outstanding choir has showcased Bulgaria’s choral tradition on some of the world’s most prestigious stages. The film reveals its inspiring story through archive footage, personal testimonies and moving moments with the children and their conductors,” the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Paris said in an invitation.

Special guests travelling from Bulgaria for the screening include Albena Ivanova-Palpurina of the Cultural Hub Bulgaria Foundation, the film’s director Zhoro Lazarov, and Elena Vatralova, artistic director of the BNR Children’s Choir, who will meet the audience.

The event, dedicated to music, children’s voices and cultural ties between Bulgaria and France, will be held at 6:00 p.m. local time at 4 rue Christine, Paris 6. Admission is free, but registration is required at:
