Yellow code alert for rain issued for the regions of Haskovo and Kardzhali

 

On Tuesday, the lowest temperatures will range between 3°C and 8°C, around 3°C in Sofia. It will be cloudy and rainy during the day. There will be almost no precipitation over the northern regions. In the afternoon cloud cover will begin to break and decrease from the northwest. There will be a light to moderate northeasterly wind. Maximum temperatures will range from 8°C in Kardzhali and Haskovo, where it will rain almost continuously, to around 16°C in the northwestern regions. In the capital city, maximum temperatures will be around 9°C.

Along the Black Sea coast, it will be cloudy with rainfall, more significant along the southern coastline. There will be a light to moderate north-northeasterly wind. Daytime highs will be between 9°C and 13°C. The seawater temperature is between 7°C and 9°C. Sea state around 2–3 on the Beaufort scale.

In the mountains, it will be cloudy with snowfall, and below 1000 meters—rain. There will be a moderate to strong northeasterly wind. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be around 3–4°C, at 2000 meters minus 3°C.

On Wednesday, there will be almost no precipitation, with temporary breaks and decreases in cloud cover. The wind will weaken, then gradually shift from the southeast and strengthen again to moderate levels. Daytime temperatures will rise.
