Book focuses on the economic history of Bulgarians in the Ottoman Empire

"Az-buki" Publishing House will present the two-volume scientific publication "Economic History of the Bulgarians in the Ottoman Empire" (15th century - early 20th century) today at 5:00 PM in the Marin Drinov Hall of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Prof. Ivan Rusev - compiler and editor of the publication and Emil Spahiyski - head of the publishing house will participate in the presentation.

The two-volume collective monograph unites the work of 27 authors, who in 26 thematic chapters trace key aspects of the economic development of the Bulgarians during the Ottoman period. The study offers a modern scientific reading of the economic processes, social structures and economic practices in the Bulgarian lands.
