Experts from 7 countries discuss in Sofia how AI is changing the labour market

One of the two largest trade unions in the country - the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions of Bulgaria (CITUB) is gathering representatives of European and national institutions and social partners from Bulgaria, Cyprus, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Poland and Romania for the international conference "From Social Dialogue to Action: Pathways to a Fair Digital and AI Transition”.

The forum will be held in Sofia at the union's headquarters. The topics of the conference will be related to the impact of artificial intelligence and algorithmic management on labour, the role of social dialogue and the need for regulations that guarantee "human control" in the use of new technologies. The event is a final forum under the European project TransFormWork 2.
