The
Court of Justice in Luxembourg rejected the request of
"Vazrazhdane" party for a temporary suspension of the
introduction of the euro in Bulgaria, BNR reports. This is clear from
the rulings of the President of the General Court on the complaints
of Rumyana Chenalova and Stanimir Minkov, and of Stanislav Stoyanov
from the "Vazrazhdane" party and the far-right group in the
European Parliament "Europe of Sovereign Nations" for a
temporary suspension of the adoption of the euro in Bulgaria from
January 1, 2026.
The
current Bulgarian acting Prime Minister was lawfully dismissed early
from the post of Deputy Governor of the Bulgarian National Bank. This
is clear from a published conclusion of the Advocate General at the
court. It is in relation to a complaint filed by M.A. Behind the
initials stands Andrey Gyurov, sources from Luxembourg told BNR.
