At 3:00 a.m. on March 29, daylight saving time will be introduced in Bulgaria, which means we will need to move our clocks forward by one hour.

Thus, on the night between March 28 and 29, we will sleep one hour less. In addition to the spring fatigue that many people will likely feel more strongly due to the shorter sleep, daylight saving time has some great advantages - the daylight hours are significantly longer and, combined with warmer weather and blooming nature, provide countless opportunities for active leisure after the workday.

Daylight saving time will remain in effect until October 25, 2026, when we will set the clocks back by one hour. It is introduced in accordance with Directive 2000/84/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of the European Union of January 19, 2001.
