Bulgaria is among leading countries in world outsourcing competitiveness ranking

Bulgaria is 25th in the world ranking for competitiveness in the field of outsourcing. The 2026 Global Outsourcing Talent Index study covers 195 countries, BTA reports. Bulgaria is assessed in the report as an emerging leader. There are 3 more EU countries in this category. These are Romania (10th position), Poland (14th position) and Hungary (21st position).

Romania is also the only country that represents Europe in the world's top ten. According to the report, Bulgaria's leading competitive advantage continues to be labour costs and English language proficiency. Thanks to them, the country manages to stand out. In terms of importance in the outsourcing sector, Bulgaria is in fifth place in Europe. The Philippines leads the world index, followed by Malaysia and India.
