Cloudy with rain over the weekend, snow in the mountains

On Saturday, the lowest temperatures will be between 3°C and 8°C, in Sofia 4°C. Before noon, in many places in southern Bulgaria, the precipitation will temporarily stop and the clouds will break. In the afternoon, the clouds will increase again and it will start raining. In western Bulgaria, a light to moderate northwesterly wind will continue to blow, while in the other regions it will gradually shift to north-northeast. Maximum temperatures will range from 11°C to 16°C, in the capital city around 10°C.

It will be cloudy and rainy over the Black Sea coast. Daytime highs will range from 12°C to 14°C. The seawater temperature is 7°C-9 °C. Sea state around 2–3 on the Beaufort scale.

In the mountains, it will be cloudy with snow, and below 1,200 meters there will be rain and snow. There will be a moderate to strong south-southeasterly winds. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be around 3 °C, at 2,000 m minus 2 °C.

On Sunday, it will remain cloudy with precipitation. There is an increased probability of significant rainfall in central-northern, northeastern, and southeastern Bulgaria. There will be a light to moderate north-northwest wind. Daytime temperatures will be relatively lower on Sunday.
