Bulgaria defeats Solomon Islands 10–2 at FIFA Series 2026

The Bulgarian national football team boosted its confidence by defeating the Solomon Islands 10–2 in a match of the FIFA Series 2026, which began today in Indonesia, reports Sportal.bg.

The decisive victory is a record for the Bulgarian national team in the 21st century and ranks second in the entire history of Bulgarian football—only the 10–0 win against Ghana in 1968 surpasses it.

This result secures a place in the tournament final for the team, led by coach Alexander Dimitrov. On March 30, Bulgaria will face the winner of the match between Indonesia and Saint Kitts and Nevis.
