The opening of the motorcycle season in Sofia has been postponed to May 2

The traditional launch of Moto Season 2026, originally scheduled for this Saturday, March 28, has been postponed by the organisers, the Sofia Motorcyclists Association. Georgi Yanchev from the association announced this on Bulgarian National Radio.

The new date is 2 May. Yanchev explained that the postponement is due to weather warnings for rain on Saturday, as well as the upcoming Easter holidays, elections and a half marathon in Sofia over the following weekends.
