Twenty artists from Spain and Latin America will arrive in the Bulgarian capital for the presentation of the fourth exhibition titled “A Colorful World” (Mundo de colores), the event’s initiator Tanya Ivanova from the “Lunna Svetlina-13” publishing house told Radio Bulgaria.
The paintings serve as a starting point for literary works created by Bulgarian authors, some of which will be presented live on March 31. This inspiring combination of visual art and literature will be preserved in time, compiled in the 600 pages of the bilingual Bulgarian-Spanish collection “A Colorful World - 2,” whose official premiere will take place during the event.

“The paintings are by Spanish and Latin American artists - from Ecuador, Bolivia, and other countries - but they all live in Spain. This is a collective exhibition and a collective book, because I believe we should be united in art. The Bulgarian authors did very well in interpreting them. You are welcome - many of them will read their works in Bulgarian, and I will present them in Spanish so that Spanish speakers can also understand. I believe that art and love will save the world,” says Tanya Ivanova.
Tanya Ivanova herself is a person of the arts - a writer, translator, and journalist who lived for nearly three decades in Barcelona. That is why the event she organizes each year will be bilingual and will bring together different art forms - literature, music, and visual art.

The project is a true bridge between cultures and languages and will be presented on March 31 at the exhibition space of Art Hotel 158 in Sofia with free admission.
