Bulgaria wins against Indonesia in FIFA Series 2026 final

Bulgaria won 1-0 against Indonesia in the FIFA Series 2026 final in Jakarta. Marin Petkov scored the goal. Before that, Bulgaria won 10-2 against the Solomon Islands and Indonesia won 4-0 against Saint Kitts and Nevis.

The Bulgarian Football Union announced that they would help for the return home to four Bulgarians who were forced to stay in Jakarta for several weeks due to the military conflict in the Middle East. After they contacted the Bulgarian Football Union with a request for help, president of the union, Georgi Ivanov, personally responded to it. They will board the national team's charter and return to Sofia.
