Minister of Foreign Affairs Nadezhda Neynsky participated in the
ceremony in the city of Bucha in memory of over 500 Ukrainian
civilians killed in March 2022 by Russian soldiers in the city. The
event was held as part of the program of the informal Foreign Affairs
Council of the EU member states hosted by Ukraine.
“In
Bucha, we see what Putin leaves behind: murders, ruins and
atrocities,” Nadezhda Neynsky said during the event, as quoted by
the press center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. What happened in
Bucha is not only a tragic page in the modern history of Ukraine, but
also remains a grave testimony to violations of international
humanitarian law that cannot be ignored or left without consequences.
