In Chicago, BAPA invites parents to a meeting on online safety for children

The Vice President of the Bulgarian-American Police Association (BAPA), Detective Brian Bonev, is organizing a meeting of parents on the topic of “Online Child Safety Awareness”. This was announced on Facebook by the association. The event is scheduled for Friday, April 17, at 5:45 p.m. local time at the Little Bulgaria Center in Chicago, 832 Lee St, Des Plaines, IL 60016. “Join us for this special presentation. Learn police tips for recognizing online risks and effectively protecting your children from them. For more information about the program or if you would like to contact Detective Bonev about visiting another Bulgarian school in the Chicago area, please contact him directly at: bbonev@bapa-police.com,” the association writes. The Bulgarian-American Police Association was founded on February 20, 2020. in the state of Illinois, Detective Mario Valkov told BTA. The organization was established for charitable purposes in conjunction with local and federal laws.
