Exhibition traces history of psychology in Bulgaria

An exhibition titled The History of Psychology in Bulgaria will open on 2 April at 16:30 local time in the central foyer of Sofia University St Kliment Ohridski.

The display explores the development of psychological science in Bulgaria, from the establishment of the first experimental psychology laboratory in 1904 to the present day.

Original instruments used in the world’s first experimental psychology laboratory, founded in 1879, will also be on show.

The exhibition is organised to mark Psychologist’s Day on 4 April and will run until 9 April 2026.
