Speaker of Bulgaria’s parliament Raya Nazaryan attends Bucha summit

Raya Nazaryan, the Speaker of Bulgaria’s National Assembly, took part in the second parliamentary summit in Bucha, Ukraine. The forum was organised by Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada.

“This war must end with a comprehensive, just and lasting peace based on international law,” Ms Nazaryan told the meeting.

“Bucha is a place for silent reflection in memory of the victims,” she added. “Today, the faces of the victims compel us to reaffirm our support for robust international mechanisms to ensure accountability.”
