Cloudy skies with precipitation, highs on the rise expected on Friday

On Friday, minimum temperatures in Bulgaria will be between 4°C and 9°C. In Sofia, around 5°C is expected. During the day, it will stay mostly cloudy, with rain in many places. The wind will be light from the east-northeast.

Maximum temperatures will range from 11°C to 16°C, with about 11°C in the capital.

Along the Black Sea coast, it will be cloudy with rainfall south of the Balkan Mountains. Maximum temperatures will be between 13°C and 15°C. Sea water temperatures will be 8°C to 10°C, and sea conditions will be around 2–3 on the Beaufort scale.

In the mountains, it will be mostly cloudy with rain, and above about 1800 meters altitude - snow. A moderate wind will blow from the south-southeast, shifting to the northeast by the end of the day. Maximum temperatures will be around 6°C at 1,200 meters and about -2°C at 2,000 meters.

On Saturday, it will remain mostly cloudy, with brief showers in some places, more widespread in the afternoon. Daytime temperatures will rise, reaching up to 17°C in some areas.
