Traffic is normal at all border crossings to Türkiye, Greece, North Macedonia, Serbia and Romania, the Border Police reported on their website. Traffic over the Danube Bridge near Ruse is temporarily being carried out in a single lane due to ongoing major scheduled repairs, which are expected to be completed by the beginning of summer.

12 people were injured in road accidents over the past 24 hours, reported the Traffic Police. Since the beginning of the month, there have been 26 traffic incidents, resulting in 28 injuries and no deaths. Since the beginning of the year, there have been 1,261 serious accidents, with 89 fatalities and 1,567 injuries.

Over the past 24 hours, a 79-year-old man died in a fire, while another man, aged 73, is in critical condition, reported the Directorate General Fire Safety and Civil Protection.
