Bulgarian violinist Vasko Vassilev performed a series of concerts in Tokyo as part of the My Planet project, dedicated to environmental protection and the preservation of oceans. This was announced by the Embassy of Bulgaria in Japan on its Facebook page and reported by the Bulgarian News Agency.

The main concert took place on March 23, 2026, at the United Nations University, with the support of the Bulgarian Embassy, and drew significant interest.

The event featured musicians from Japan and Europe, as well as students from the Academic Choir of the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv, conducted by Nikolay Gurbanov.

As part of the project, additional concerts were held at the Tokyo College of Music and the Midorigaoka High School, along with a meeting with students from Fujimi High School.

The initiative contributed to promoting Bulgarian culture in Japan and strengthening bilateral relations.
