Applications open for summer seminars in Bulgarian language

Applications are now open for the annual summer seminars in Bulgarian language, literature, and culture for foreign scholars of Bulgarian and Slavic studies.

The programmes are organised by Sofia University 'St. Kliment Ohridski' and Veliko Tarnovo University 'St. St. Cyril and Methodius', and are supported financially by Bulgaria’s Ministry of Education, according to a post on the Bulgarian Embassy in Tokyo's Facebook page.

The seminar in Sofia will take place from 12 July to 1 August 2026, while the one in Veliko Tarnovo will run from 13 July to 2 August 2026.
