Psychoanalyst Stephen Grosz to present Love’s Labour in Sofia

American psychoanalyst Stephen Grosz will present the Bulgarian translation of his latest book, Love’s Labour, in Sofia on 14 April at 19:00 at the Peroto Club.

This will be Mr Grosz’s second visit to Bulgaria, following a trip in 2017 to promote his debut book, The Examined Life, a Sunday Times bestseller.

Mr Grosz is a practising psychoanalyst in London and has taught at the Institute of Psychoanalysis and University College London. His work is known for presenting psychoanalytic ideas in clear, accessible language while preserving their clinical depth and human complexity.

Love's Labour continues this tradition, focusing on intimacy, the difficulties of commitment, and the recurring internal patterns that shape our love lives, according to the Bulgarian Psychoanalytic Society.

During his visit, Mr Grosz will also receive an honorary doctorate from New Bulgarian University.
