Normal traffic at all border crossings

Traffic is flowing normally at all border crossings and checkpoints across the country, the General Directorate of Border Police said. Both lanes on the Danube Bridge near Ruse have reopened following repairs. However, traffic is still being regulated in stages in a single lane for the time being.

The Interior Ministry said one person was killed and 19 were injured in road accidents over the past 24 hours. A total of 15 accidents were reported. In Sofia, 25 minor incidents and three serious accidents were recorded, leaving five people injured.

Since the beginning of the month, 113 accidents have been recorded nationwide, resulting in 133 injuries and six fatalities.
