Stefani Stoeva and Gabriela Stoeva win a fifth European badminton title!

Sisters Stefani Stoeva and Gabriela Stoeva won the women’s doubles title at the European Badminton Championships in the Spanish city of Huelva.

Seeded number 1 in the draw, the sisters defeated Bengisu Erçetin and Nazlıcan İnci (Turkey) in the final with a score of 21:11, 21:17 in 40 minutes, successfully defending their title from last year.

Stefani Stoeva and Gabriela Stoeva, who train under coach Petya Nedelcheva, played in their seventh consecutive European Championship final. They now have a total of seven medals - five gold and two silver - and are also two-time champions from the European Games.
