Traffic is normal at all border checkpoints

Traffic at Bulgarian border checkpoints is normal, the General Directorate Border Police reports. The border authorities remind that a temporary organization has been introduced in traffic on the Danube Bridge in the direction of Ruse - Giurgiu and the traffic is in both directions. On April 14 at 8:00 a.m., traffic regulation on the Danube Bridge will be restored.

Passenger cars and minibuses of up to 3.5 tons pass through the border crossings with Greece "Rudozem", "Zlatograd", "Makaza" and "Ivaylovgrad", and through "Kulata", "Ilinden" and "Kapitan Petko Voyvoda" - passenger cars, buses and trucks.

A 51-year-old man died in a house fire in the village of Mirovyane, the General Directorate for Fire Safety and Population Protection reported. Over the past 24 hours, 82 fires have been extinguished and 33 rescue operations have been carried out.
