The
best Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov has dropped 42 places in
the world rankings and is now 135th. He failed to defend his points
from the Monte Carlo Masters
last week, suffering a loss to Argentina's Tomas
Martin Etcheverry.
The
last time Grigor Dimitrov was outside the top 100 in the world was in
March 2012, and outside the top 130 - in 2010.
Meanwhile,
the young hope of Bulgarian tennis Ivan Ivanov - champion of
Wimbledon and the US Open among juniors last season, advanced four
places to a career-high 600th position.
