I
congratulated Péter Magyar on the election result. I also
congratulated the citizens of Hungary, who expressed their will with
record-high activity and showed Europe that democracy is not just a
ballot box, caretaker Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov wrote on his
official Facebook page.
“Europe
is not geography and financial funds. It is a choice. A choice to be
together in our values. To protect freedom. To stand up for dignity,”
the caretaker Prime Minister also wrote.
“We
saw in Hungary what happens when people believe that their voice has
power. Now comes our moment in Bulgaria,” Andrey Gyurov added.
Hungarian
opposition leader Péter Magyar won the parliamentary elections on
April 12 in Hungary and his center-right Tisza Party would probably
have a majority of 2/3 in parliament, BTA recalls.
