Traffic at Bulgarian border crossings to Turkey, Greece, North Macedonia, Serbia and Romania is normal, the Border Police has reported. From 8 am on April 14, traffic regulation on the Danube Bridge near Ruse has been restored and due to major planned repairs cars will be allowed to pass through one lane. For the Easter holidays from April 9, a temporary organization was introduced to allow traffic on the Danube Bridge in both directions, the road agency reported.

Military personnel and military equipment will pass on April 14 and 15, 2026, along the republican road and railway network to participate in planned exercises, the Ministry of Defence reported. On April 14, a convoy of military equipment will move from Sliven to the Koren training ground in Haskovo, which may temporarily slow down road traffic.
