Nearly
500,000 Bulgarians celebrated Easter in Bulgaria and about 120,000
abroad. About 130,000 tourists arrived in Bulgaria for the Orthodox
holiday from abroad.
This
was what the head of the Institute for Analysis and Assessment in
Tourism, Rumen Draganov, told the Bulgarian National Radio.
The
foreigners are mainly from Romania and Greece, but there are also
guests from Italy, Spain and Central Europe. "Nobody finds
Bulgaria an expensive destination. I have not read such a headline in
the foreign press. On the contrary, they say Bulgaria is a very
hospitable destination,” the expert says.

"Prices
in the summer will increase in high-category hotels, where overnight
stays are over €250. As for the average and low prices, they will
remain the same," says Draganov, who expects an increase in
bookings in Bulgaria.
