Highs of 16–21°C, drizzle expected in the southwest

On Thursday, temperatures will range from 3 to 8°C, with Sofia expected to drop to 5°C. Sunny weather will prevail across most of the country during the day. However, there will be significant cloud cover over the southern regions, bringing light rain to parts of southwestern Bulgaria. There will be a light to moderate easterly wind. Maximum temperatures will reach between 16 and 21°C. In the capital, it will reach around 19°C.

Along the Black Sea coast, it will be mostly sunny with scattered high clouds. A light to moderate easterly wind will blow. Highs will rise to 15°C. The sea water temperature will be around 11°C, with sea conditions reaching about 2 on the Beaufort scale.

In the mountains, cloud cover will be significant, with light rain expected in parts of the Rila-Rhodope region; above 2,500 meters, there will be a mix of rain and snow. A light to moderate northeasterly wind will blow. The maximum temperature at 1,200 metres above sea level will be around 13°C, and at 2,000 metres it will be around 5°C.

On Friday, sunny weather will prevail over most of the country. There will be more significant, temporary increases in cloud cover over western Bulgaria and rain in some mountain areas. The wind will be light and will temporarily die down in many areas. Minimum temperatures will range between 3°C and 8°C, and maximum temperatures between 18°C and 23°C.
