Around three million Bulgarians will vote in the upcoming early parliamentary elections on 19 April. Five parties are certain to enter parliament, while a sixth is on the verge of doing so. This is according to a study conducted by the Center for Analysis and Marketing.
The results were presented at a press conference titled 'Electoral Attitudes Five Days Before the Parliamentary Elections: Results of a Nationally Representative Sociological Survey'. The survey was conducted by the Center for Analysis and Marketing between 3 and 14 April among 1,011 adult citizens using the centre’s own resources.
According to the survey, 'Progressive Bulgaria' will receive 32.1% of the vote, GERB-SDS 19.4%, 'We Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria' 12%, 'DPS-New Beginning' 11.2%, and 'Vazrazhdane' 7%. 'BSP – United Left' will receive 4.2%, which puts it just above the 4% threshold.
The survey revealed that 54.1% of citizens have already made their voting decisions. Of those surveyed, 50.3% describe their political views as centrist, 14.4% as right-wing and 11% as left-wing.
