Public tension in the first quarter of the year remains high. The index, measured by the Center for Analyses and Crisis Communications and the Myara Agency, is 6.88 on a ten-point scale, which means a slight increase compared to 6.76 in the last three months of 2025. Thus, the indicator continues to be in the column "high index, difficult to control risks".

The political tension, characteristic of the end of last year has decreased, but as factors for increasing anxiety, the real and perceived increase in prices and the "Petrohan" case, which received quite a serious public resonance, come to the fore, the study highlights.

The main factor for increasing public tension is price growth, the corruption index also remains high.
