Bulgarian School Slovo in Oxford is preparing a festive concert

The Bulgarian School Slovo in Oxford is organizing a concert on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the April Uprising and May 24 - Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, of the Bulgarian alphabet, Education and Culture and of Slavonic Literature. The event will take place on May 16 at 2:00 p.m. local time at the Newman Rooms at The OU Catholic Chaplaincy Rose Place St Aldate's Oxford OX1 1RD, the school announced on its Facebook page.

A highlight of the program dedicated to both events will be the screening of the film "The Voice from London: The Story of the BBC Bulgarian Section", which was created under the National Program of the Ministry of Education and Science "The Untold Stories of the Bulgarians".
