Bulgaria’s top gymnasts target medals at World Cup in Baku

Bulgaria will be represented at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku by Stiliana Nikolova, Eva Brezalieva and the women’s group. The third event of the season, following Sofia and Tashkent, runs from 17 to 19 April.

At the Sofia World Cup, Nikolova took all-around silver, while Brezalieva won gold in the clubs final.

A total of 78 individuals from 42 countries will compete in Baku, including Olympic champion Darja Varfolomeev, European champion Taisiia Onofriichuk and Italy’s Sofia Raffaeli.

Bulgaria’s group - Sofia Ivanova, Margarita Vasileva, Magdalena Minevska, Emilia Obretenova, Raya Bozhilova and Magdalena Valkova - will compete against 15 elite teams for the medals.
