The Bulgarian National Radio and the Bulgarian National Television are hosting a two-day media meeting of EBU. On April 22 and 23, leaders and representatives of public media, members of the alliance, will discuss their role in a fragmented geopolitical landscape and crises. Professional conversations about the future are also planned in thematic panels, such as "The Death and Revival of Live Broadcasting", "How to Redefine Public Media from the Inside Out".

Speeches
at the beginning of the forum at "Sofia Tech Park" will be
made by the general directors of the Bulgarian National Radio and the
Bulgarian National Television - Milen Mitev and Milena Milotinova.
The
second day is dedicated to the strategic challenges facing public
media. Issues related to their rating and the methods for determining
it, as well as different approaches that stimulate editorial
decision-making, the analysis of audience desires and the
peculiarities of work processes will be discussed. Changes in EU
legislation regarding radio in cars will also be discussed, as well
as the organization of various projects within the framework of the
"Radio Ready" initiative, which should ensure the
accessibility and secure delivery of radio services to cars at the
backdrop of growing pressure of mobile streaming applications.
