The name of virtuoso violinist Vesko Eschkenazy is now part of the wall of the world-famous Dutch Concertgebouw hall. In 1999, the Bulgarian won a competition for concertmaster of this prestigious symphony orchestra.

"Today my name was officially placed on the wall of honour in the Concertgebouw hall in Amsterdam - a place that will forever remain a part of my path. It is difficult for me to describe in words the excitement and gratitude that I feel at this moment. 25 unforgettable years have passed, filled with music of the highest world level, shared with exceptional musicians and audiences around the world. Being the concertmaster of this orchestra is an honour and responsibility that has shaped not only my career, but also me as an artist," Eschkenazy wrote on his Facebook profile.
